Canvas Makeup Artistry
Keya Bhagirath Asuquo, the founder, owner and operator of Canvas Makeup Artistry, is a professional makeup artist based in Hampton Roads, VA. Combining traditional cosmetics with airbrushing, Keya creates custom looks for each client. She assisted the lead makeup artist on the seven time award winning Jewish Jesus project. She is a graduate of the Academy of Makeup Arts where she learned the full spectrum of makeup application. Keya has also taught workshops in makeup application and self-esteem. Committed to her community, Keya has donated her talents to several non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better program and Makeovers for the Cure 2010 to benefit the Cancer Schmancer, Critters for the Cure and Stand up to cancer.
